Summary
This study tested whether adding a mild electrical stimulation to standard swallowing exercises helps people with multiple sclerosis who have trouble swallowing. 136 participants received either real or fake stimulation along with their therapy. The goal was to see if the electrical boost improves swallowing safety and quality of life.
