Scientists probe hidden swallowing problems in seniors at the ER
NCT ID NCT06368830
Summary
This study aims to learn more about swallowing and oral health in adults aged 60 and older who come to the emergency department. Researchers want to understand how common these problems are and how they might be connected to other health issues. During their ER visit, participants will complete simple tests like swallowing water, having their tongue strength measured, and answering survey questions.
