First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special swallowing exercise program can help people with multiple system atrophy (MSA) who have trouble swallowing. About 24 adults with MSA and swallowing problems will be randomly assigned to receive the therapy or usual care. The goal is to see if the therapy reduces the risk of food or liquid going into the lungs and improves quality of life.
