Staples or stitches? new study tests best way to close fracture wounds

Summary
This study compares using stitches (nylon sutures) versus metal staples to close surgical wounds after leg fracture surgery. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer infections and to test if a larger study is possible. About 50 adults with certain leg fractures will be randomly assigned to one closure method and followed for standard care plus surveys.
