Summary
This study compares two different ways to close the skin after open appendix surgery. Researchers want to see if using hidden stitches plus a small drain leads to fewer wound infections and better healing than traditional visible stitches. The study will involve 100 patients having open appendix surgery and will track their recovery for 30 days.
