First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new anesthesia method for heart bypass surgery that aims to be better for the environment, cheaper, and help patients recover faster. About 116 adults having planned bypass surgery will be split into two groups: one gets the new technique, the other gets standard care. Researchers will compare how quickly patients can breathe on their own after surgery, the cost, and the carbon footprint of each method.
