New vaccine-chemo combo takes on hard-to-treat neuroendocrine cancers

NCT ID NCT06202066

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a cancer vaccine (SurVaxM) to standard chemotherapy (temozolomide) helps control advanced neuroendocrine tumors that are growing. About 60 adults with metastatic disease will receive either the combination or chemo alone. The goal is to see if the vaccine boosts the immune system to fight cancer and extends time without tumor growth.
