Summary

This study aims to find out if removing surgical dressings just one day after abdominal surgery is as safe as keeping them for about six days. Researchers will compare infection rates in 1,288 patients who have elective abdominal procedures. The goal is to gather strong evidence to help standardize post-surgical care practices.
