Summary
This study looked at whether surgery or non-surgical treatments (like physical therapy) work better for people with rotator cuff tears that happened without a specific injury. 187 adults aged 40 to 84 with MRI-confirmed tears took part. The main goal was to see which approach improved shoulder pain and function more over time.
