Can surgery extend lives when prostate cancer has already spread?

NCT ID NCT02454543

Summary

This study is testing if removing the prostate (surgery) along with the best available drug therapy helps men live longer than using drug therapy alone. It focuses on men whose prostate cancer has spread to only a few bones. Researchers will track survival, cancer progression, and quality of life over many years to see which approach is better.
