Brain tumor surgery before it comes back: a new timing test
NCT ID NCT04810871
Summary
This study is looking at whether it's safe and helpful to operate on brain tumors that are still visible after a patient has had chemotherapy or radiation, but before the tumor starts growing again. Researchers want to compare outcomes for people who have this 'pre-recurrent' surgery to those who have surgery at a different time or no further surgery at all. The goal is to understand the best timing for surgery to help control the disease and improve survival.
