Summary
This study tested a two-part surgery for children with severe constipation that didn't get better with standard treatments. The surgery removes part of the colon and creates a small opening in the belly for enemas. The goal was to reduce accidental stool leakage (soiling). The study included 20 children aged 4 and older.
