Summary

This study tested whether surgery could help people with severe, long-lasting arm pain called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). 74 patients had surgery to either fix a specific problem (like scar tissue) or to relieve pressure on a major nerve. Most patients saw their pain drop dramatically within days or months after the procedure.
