Surgery cuts severe nerve pain in days
NCT ID NCT07263256
Summary
This study tested whether surgery could help people with a severe, hard-to-treat chronic pain condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). 74 patients with arm pain had either a specific problem fixed or a nerve decompressed. Most patients saw their pain drop dramatically within days or months after surgery.
