Doctors probe link between surgery blood pressure dips and patient recovery
NCT ID NCT07346274
Summary
This study aims to understand if drops in blood pressure during a major pancreas surgery are linked to higher levels of a substance called lactate in the blood after surgery. Researchers will observe 60 patients having this surgery to see if there's a connection. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help improve how blood pressure is managed during surgery to benefit future patients.
