Second radiation course shows promise for returning brain tumors in kids

Summary
This study tests whether surgery followed by a second course of radiation can help children and young adults (ages 1-21) whose ependymoma has returned after initial treatment. The combined radiation dose is higher than standard. Researchers will track how long the tumor stays under control, side effects, and use MRI/PET scans to predict response. Participants are followed for up to 5 years.
