Can a second surgery extend life for women with recurring ovarian cancer?

NCT ID NCT07171528

Summary

This study is testing whether adding surgery after chemotherapy helps control recurrent ovarian cancer better than chemotherapy alone. It will enroll 80 women whose ovarian cancer has returned but is still responding to platinum-based drugs. Researchers will compare how long patients live without their cancer getting worse between the group that gets surgery plus chemo and the group that gets only chemo.
