First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether treating an additional nerve in the foot can improve pain relief for people with chronic plantar heel pain. About 48 adults aged 18 to 65 with ongoing heel pain will receive pulsed radiofrequency treatment to either one or two nerves. Researchers will measure pain and foot function before treatment and again at 1 and 3 months after.
