Heel pain breakthrough? study tests extra nerve zap for lasting relief

Summary
This study looks at whether treating an extra nerve in the foot can improve pain relief for people with long-term heel pain. About 48 adults with chronic plantar heel pain will receive pulsed radiofrequency treatment to one or two nerves. Researchers will measure pain and foot function before treatment and again at 1 and 3 months after.
