Summary
This study looks at whether listening to the recitation of Surah Al-Inshirah in the first two days after a C-section can improve a mother's spiritual well-being, lower depression risk, and strengthen her bond with her newborn. About 172 first-time Muslim mothers who had a C-section will either receive routine care or also listen to the surah. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to support new mothers during a sensitive time.
