NCT ID NCT07419438

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a supraglottic airway (a small mask placed over the voice box) can be used as the main tool to help premature babies breathe during delivery room resuscitation. About 20 infants born between 29 and 33 weeks who need breathing support at birth will receive this device. The goal is to see if it is a practical and effective first option, potentially avoiding the need for a breathing tube.
