New pill before surgery shows promise for hard-to-treat lung cancer

Summary
This study tests a drug called sunvozertinib given before surgery for people with stage II to IIIB non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (EGFR exon 20 insertion). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors and improve outcomes. About 24 participants will receive the drug and then have surgery to remove their cancer.
