First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested a simple, non-drug technique called Sujok therapy to help cancer patients feel more comfortable during port catheter placement. Sujok involves massaging specific points on the hands with seeds to promote healing. The researchers compared 30 patients who received real Sujok therapy, 30 who received placebo seeds, and 30 who received no extra treatment. The goal was to see if Sujok could reduce pain, anxiety, and improve overall comfort during the procedure.
