First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of smartphone messages and brief therapy sessions can help adults who have been hospitalized for suicidal thoughts or attempts. About 360 participants will use a smartphone app to track their feelings and may receive automated coping reminders or extra sessions with a clinician. The goal is to see if these tools reduce suicide-related events like attempts or emergency visits.
