New VA study aims to keep firearms away from suicidal veterans

Summary
This study tests a short, motivational counseling program to help Veterans who are at risk of suicide safely store firearms. About 50 Veterans and their primary care clinicians will take part. The goal is to see if the program is practical and acceptable in real-world clinic settings.
