Summary
This study is testing a program called WeCare to help Black teenagers who are thinking about suicide. The program includes a quick screening in the emergency room, a short counseling session, and supportive text messages for six weeks afterward. Researchers want to see if this approach helps more teens get mental health care and reduces suicidal thoughts. About 2,200 teens and their families will take part.
