This study tested whether a drug called sugammadex helps people recover bowel function faster after open abdominal wall reconstruction for ventral hernia. 184 adults were randomly assigned to receive either sugammadex or standard care after surgery. The main goal was to see if sugammadex shortened the time to first bowel movement and ability to eat solid food.
