Summary
This study tested whether a drug called sugammadex can help the bowels start working again sooner after open abdominal wall reconstruction for ventral hernia. 184 adults were randomly assigned to receive either sugammadex or standard care after surgery. The main goal was to see how quickly patients could eat solid food and have their first bowel movement.
