Cultural strength program aims to curb substance use among native youth
NCT ID NCT06559774
Summary
This study is testing a culturally tailored prevention program called Hastiin Bidziil (Strong Man) designed to reduce substance use among Native American men aged 18-26. The program focuses on cultural strengths and community connection rather than just telling people to stop using substances. Researchers will measure whether participants who complete the program report fewer days of substance use over six months compared to those who don't participate.
