First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study will test if using absorbable staples under the skin can make C-section surgery faster and improve how the scar looks. About 237 women having a C-section will be randomly assigned to get either the new staples or standard stitches. Researchers will measure surgery time and take photos of the scar to rate its appearance.
