First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a medicated cloth (glycopyrronium) can reduce excessive sweating at the amputation site in people with limb loss. Thirteen participants used either the active cloth or a placebo for four weeks, then switched after a break. The goal was to see if less sweating improves how well the prosthetic fits and functions.
