First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether special medicated cloths (Qbrexza) can reduce excessive sweating at the amputation site in 13 limb amputees. Participants used either the active cloth or a placebo for 4 weeks, then switched after a 2-week break. The goal was to see if less sweating improves prosthetic fit and daily function.
