Scientists probe how terrorist attack trauma echoes in families
NCT ID NCT07203443
Summary
This study aims to understand how the psychological trauma from the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks is passed from parents to their children. Researchers are recruiting 960 people, including families directly affected by the attacks and families who were not exposed, to serve as a comparison group. The study uses interviews, questionnaires, sleep tracking, and brain scans to measure stress, resilience, and family dynamics over time.
