Summary
This study looks at how well people with type 2 diabetes can produce insulin after drinking a meal replacement shake. Researchers will take blood samples over two hours to measure insulin and blood sugar levels. The goal is to understand how recent weight gain might affect the body's ability to make insulin. The study involves 90 adults with type 2 diabetes who are not on insulin therapy.
