Summary
This study looks at why some people who had gastric bypass surgery develop very low blood sugar years later, while others see their type 2 diabetes improve. Researchers will measure gut hormones and nerve signals to understand how the surgery changes insulin release. The study involves 160 adults, including those with and without low blood sugar after surgery, plus healthy volunteers without surgery.
