Summary
This study aimed to understand the psychological triggers behind cravings in young adults who regularly use both traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes (vapes). Researchers observed 82 participants in a lab and tracked their daily lives to see how sights, moods, and environments spark the urge to smoke or vape. The goal was to gather knowledge about the shared mental processes of dual use, not to test a treatment.
