Researchers probe why some lose control of both bladder and bowels
NCT ID NCT05550675
Summary
This study aims to better understand the differences between fecal incontinence (loss of bowel control) and double incontinence (loss of both bowel and bladder control). Researchers will collect detailed information from 150 patients to compare factors like medical history, diarrhea, and results from a special rectal pressure test. The goal is to identify what specifically leads to double incontinence and how it affects a person's quality of life compared to fecal incontinence alone.
