Summary
This study aims to understand if a specific type of microbe, called Archaea, is involved in causing tooth cavities. Researchers will collect saliva samples from 200 adult dental patients to check for the presence and amount of these microbes. The goal is to gather new knowledge about what causes cavities, which could help improve prevention or treatment in the future.
