Scientists dig into tumor samples to crack resistance in HER2 breast cancer
NCT ID NCT06518382
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study examines stored tumor samples from 10 people with HER2-positive breast cancer who still had cancer after standard chemo and trastuzumab. Researchers will compare samples taken before and after treatment to see how the tumor and its surroundings changed. The goal is to find markers that explain why some cancers resist therapy, which could lead to better treatments in the future. No new drugs are given—this is purely an observational study.
