First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether giving the anti-inflammatory drug Ketorolac before surgery can reduce pain and discomfort from ureteral stents placed after kidney stone treatment. About 36 adults will be randomly assigned to receive the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if this simple approach can improve patient comfort and to check if a larger study is feasible.
