New hope for Hard-to-Treat breast cancer: targeted radiation plus hormone therapy
NCT ID NCT05870579
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a new drug combination for people with a specific type of advanced breast cancer (ER+, HER2-) that has stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. The treatment adds a targeted radioactive drug (177Lu-NeoB) to two existing hormone-blocking medications (ribociclib and fulvestrant). The main goal is to find the safest dose and see how well patients tolerate the combination. About 48 adults with this type of breast cancer will take part.
