First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding cognitive training (like a Stroop task) and rhythmic music to treadmill walking helps people with chronic stroke walk more automatically and think better while walking. 80 participants were assigned to different training groups. The goal was to see which combination best improves walking speed, balance, and dual-task coordination.
