First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining a gentle brain-stimulation technique (transcranial direct current stimulation) with core stability exercises can improve trunk control, balance, and daily function in people who had a stroke. Sixty participants aged 55 or older who can stand and walk independently will take part. The goal is to see if this combination works better than exercise alone.
