Summary
This study tested a new device called SINOMED SR, a stent used to remove blood clots in the brain during a stroke. It involved 218 adults who had a severe acute ischemic stroke and were treated within 24 hours of symptoms starting. The main goal was to see if the stent could safely and effectively reopen blocked arteries and improve patients' recovery.
