Brain zaps and blood flow cuffs tested to help stroke patients move again

NCT ID NCT07454954

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of two therapies can help stroke survivors regain movement in their paralyzed limbs. The therapies are blood flow restriction training (light exercise with a cuff) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (a non-invasive brain stimulation technique). Researchers will compare this combination to standard rehab and brain stimulation alone in 69 participants over 4 weeks to see which approach works best for improving arm function and daily activities.
