Mind over matter: can thinking about movement help stroke patients walk again?
NCT ID NCT06166862
Summary
This study is testing if adding two mental training techniques—watching videos of movements and imagining performing them—to standard stroke rehabilitation helps people recover better. It will involve 56 adults who had a stroke within the last year. Researchers want to see if this 'mind practice' improves balance, daily function, and quality of life more than standard rehab alone.
