First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug (tenecteplase) directly into the brain artery after mechanical clot removal helps people recover better from a severe stroke. About 344 adults with large vessel occlusion stroke will be randomly assigned to receive the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if more people achieve near-normal function 90 days later.
