Can stroke survivors safely return to the wheel? study investigates

NCT ID NCT07213180

Summary

This study looked at how many stroke survivors return to driving and what factors help or hinder them. Researchers reviewed medical records of 140 patients who had driving assessments after their strokes and followed up with phone surveys three years later. The goal was to understand which personal and medical characteristics make it more likely for someone to resume driving safely after a stroke.
