First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone-based management system can help people who have had a stroke or mini-stroke avoid future strokes and death. About 4,490 participants will either receive usual care or use a WeChat-based system to track risk factors like blood pressure and blood sugar. The goal is to see if the digital tool improves medication adherence and risk factor control, reducing the chance of another stroke.
