Two-Week exercise routine shows promise for stroke recovery

Summary
This small study tested a 14-day exercise program designed to strengthen the tongue, jaw, and back muscles in people recovering from a recent stroke. Twelve participants did the exercises twice daily. The results showed the program significantly increased tongue and back muscle strength, which could help with swallowing and posture.
